An interesting video about running multiple applications simultaneously and copy/paste feature in G1 phone. iPhone lacks these features.

Will it be possible to port Android on an x86-based platform such as a mobile-ITX or the COM Express boards?I want to build my own phone for some specialized purposes.

I’m not sure about the long-pressing, it would be nice to swap between apps like you do on most OS, Alt-Tab. Maybe this could be implemented using * and 1 for example?
For devices with an Alt and a Tab, this would be much better.

All actions, with the exception of switching between apps, can be done from the keyboard and the touch screen.
